Happy 61st Birthday DADDY!

I am truly happy that God allowed my father to see another year. He has had a rough year. Sufferred a stroke 12 days after turning 60 last year. He had to learn to walk again. He's doing exceptional. Not only is he walking but he's driving again. Thank u Jesus for everything you have done! I love my Daddy very much and can't imagine life without him!

been a minute

Sorry for the delay, it's been a minute since i have had time to post anything. My life has been busy. I got my tickets to see Tyler Perry's play in November. So i'm excited about that. Actually, i can't wait. lol

I haven't updated my page in a few. I've been really busy. But i'm back, getting ready to plan my next trip (Jamaica), which was supposed to be this month but has been delayed.

BACK TO REALITY

New York has been great. Now back to reality in Birmingham,Al and back to work next week. I've truly enjoyed myself. We have done so many great things & been to some great places....Atlantic City, New Jersey (casinos, food, beach).....Apollo....Old School Concert (Doug E.Fresh).....eat....shop...Boat Twilight Cruise around the city.......shop...eat....mall.........Fashion District...Time Square.....oh my to much to name! ;-)......Miss you guys already & love ya! Thanks for the hospitality!!!!!!

New York City

New York is awesome! This is one of the best and last vacations of my summer 2010. We've done so much and have 3 days left of relaxation. I went to Atlantic City in New Jersey which is like a mini Las Vegas. They have a boardwalk, lots of casinos a beach and everything. We've seen Allen Iverson, Dewayne Waid and a few others. We've visited the Apollo theatre in Harlem for their amateur night. Going to the old school concert tonite...........featuring Doug E. Fresh...and lots more! We've ate good food. The pizza is off the chain! We are headed to shop til we drop! TTYL....................

Fasting for 21 days! NO FACEBOOK

Facebook has become Crackbook to me. I find myself checking it several and i do mean several times a day! So Pastor Van is encouraging everyone to give up something besides food that is hindering us from spending time with God. It's up to us, whatever we want to sacrifice for 21 days. I'm not a saint, but you have to start somewhere. The Lord knows my heart and for the next 21 days beginning on Friday Aug 6th, i am giving up something that has truly indeed kept me from spending time with him. The time i've spent on facebook, couldv'e been time spent in prayer. IM JUST SAYING! U all should try it!

I've come to realize i want to explore the world. See as much as i can see while there's breath left in this body of mine. In the past 2 years i have been to Nassau, Bahamas......New York.....New Orleans.....Atlanta......Los Angeles,CA.......and in 2 weeks back to New York! hmmmm, where will my next destination be?????

Hey everyone, my dad is doing much better.....He got out the hospital on last Thursday. Headed to ATL this wkend for a much needed break! So, i will wish everyone an early HAPPY 4TH OF JULY......have a great and safe holiday wkend!

Where did the time go?????????? In one month & one week i will be 34 years old. I always said my cut off for having kids would be 35. But since i'm knocking on 34's door, not married & u have to be pregnant for 9 mos. I will push it to 36, maybe 37. But that's pushing it. I want everyone to know i'm the mother. Not assume i'm the granny. :)........enough blah, blah for now!

So i'm at my second job....."praying for 11 pm to hurry." This is my 3rd 15 hr work day and i have one left. Geez.........

My BFF

My sister who once got on my everlasting nerves, being as though we are 8 years apart. Thanx Mom & Dad. Anywho, with such an age difference we didn't have much in common. She rattled on any & every and did i say every thing i did wrong. Well now that she's older and maturer i find myself hanging with her alot. Some friendships are only meant for certain periods of your life. A sister will be there til the end.

Meet Sasha, my baby. I couldnt get her trained for nothing, didn't have much time to do it so i got fed up one day & took her to the humane society. Did it while i was angry......bad mistake. She was the best dog ever i just didn't have the patience.I cried for 4 days. I miss her sooooooooo much, but she deserved a better home.......

Daddy's Girl

Yes that's correct. I'm a daddy's little girl. My father sufferred a stroke in December 09. Approximately 3 wks after celebrating his 60th suprise Bday. I thought my world was over. But he overcame it and is doing great. Still alot of bumps in the road ahead. He had to learn how to walk all over again. He couldn't move his right side but with the power of prayer he's moving it again!!!! My mom, who also sufferred a stroke back in '98. Also had to learn to walk and talk again. Their both great. (HOW IRONIC FOR BOTH PARENTS TO SUFFER FROM A STROKE) Thanks for everyones prayers and support during this very hard time in our lives~

Ballet

I have a niece whom i love dearly. Little Ms.Trin or Jenn Jr.(whatever u want to call her).....she had her first dance recital on Saturday. Brought tears to my eyes. She just grew up overnite. Then i look in front of me & my brother (her daddy) was wiping his eyes and blowing his nose. LOL. That was a site. ( he swears he had something in his eye, yeah a tear) lol

So, last month i went to LA with some of my family. The trip was so much fun. We stayed at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel downtown LA. The hotel view was amazing. There's so much to do out there. We shopped, ate, took a private limo tour around the city, went to see Dream Girls Broadway production, went to the Lakers Game @ the Staples Center and visited long lost family there ( that I didn't even know existed). We visited the Hollywood Walk of Fame, saw 2 Michael Jacksons......"AND YALL THOUGHT THE KING WAS DEAD"....LOL........so if you ever think of visiting make sure to take lots of cash and go to the shopping district downtown LA. AMAZING!!!! I wanted to lose my ever loving mind there, but i started thinking about car note, insurance, bills....bills......bills and i stuck to 3 pair of jeans, a shirt and a purse all for under $100...GOOD?, yeah i know. LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT!
